IT’S TIME FOR THE 26th ANNUAL BAHAMA BRACKET NATIONALS!

The ‘Last Blast’ is this weekend at Rockford Speedway, with the 26th installment of the Bahama Bracket Nationals(BBN). BBN is a one-of-a-kind racing extravaganza taking place this Saturday and Sunday October 14 and 15! The event features cars from both asphalt and dirt tracks competing against one another in “Bracket style” racing. Starting Saturday afternoon, over 150 drivers will qualify their cars for the event. After qualifying, the field is then split into separate Brackets (four ‘Full-size’ Brackets and two ‘four-cylinder’ Brackets) and Saturday night, the race is on! You’ll see Late Models, Sportsman, Modifieds, Trucks, Roadrunners, Hornets and more competing against one another, with every car racing for their chance to earn a spot in Sunday’s Championship Features.

Drivers that don’t advance through the Qualifying Races and Bermuda Bashes on Saturday night have the chance to ‘Dance to Advance’ after the races Saturday in the Miller Lite Pavilion OR race their way in during Sunday afternoon’s Last Chance Races, which kick things off at Noon. Sunday’s Main Events include 50 lap features for the A & AA Bracket, with the winner choosing between their prize money ($1500 or $1000) or trip for two to the Bahamas! The AAA & AAAA Brackets will run 40 lap features, while the B & BB Brackets will contest 35 and 25 lap features. If you love racing, you must take in Bahama Bracket Nationals next weekend at Rockford Speedway…and don’t forget to bring a friend!

Again this season, “Overnight Parking for Campers” is permitted on Speedway grounds during the 26th Annual Bahama Bracket Nationals, with the Overnight Lot opening up next Thursday evening October 12 at 5 PM.
