Joliet, Ill., August 29—The 10^th annual Bill Waite Jr. Memorial Classic, featuring the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series and dirt late model stock cars, at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway was rained out Sunday afternoon.

No make-up date was immediately announced.

A heavy rain storm hit the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Ill., Sunday afternoon, forcing the postponement of the Bill Waite Jr. Memorial Classic, which was to feature the winged ‘410’ IRA sprint cars and dirt late model stock cars.

Sprint cars sit outside their trailers before the rain came.

Jason Feger’s No. 25 late model got a little wet.

Hunter Custer’s No. 29 sprinter got caught out in the rain.
