Dave Darland was taking his sprint car seat to a drier place! The sky opened up over Kokomo Speedway and wiped out the racing for the night. At Gas City, James Headley (78) got into a lapped car while racing Randy Lines (14). Jamie Lomax won a lot of features in 2018 looking like this! Russ Disinger did this in his heat race. Zane DeVault starts his airborne adventure towards the scoreboard at Shadyhill Speedway. His wing eventually hit the top of the scoreboard and came off. Zane landed upside down in a small pond just behind the scoreboard. Thanks to many fans in the stands who ripped part of the fence apart to get to him, his life was saved. This looked more like a football play at Plymouth. At Plymouth for the Charlie Pogue Memorial, Shaun Wiltjer (1) and eventual winner Jeffery Struck Jr. raced cleanly like this for most of the race. Many fans said later it was the best race they had seen in a long time. At Plymouth, the mini sprint racing is closer than close sometimes! Even the Mini Wedges do wheelies!!
