Nick Panitzke and Jeremy Miller Win Late Model Features at Madison
In his first visit of the 2017 season, Nick Panitzke of Lonsdale, Minnesota, won the first 30 lap feature for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Models at Madison International Speedway.  It was all part of Kids’ Night at the races that included double features in the three weekly NASCAR divisions plus the visiting Legends and Bandoleros. During intermission nearly 100 kids participated in bike races on the track and several lucky young fans went home with brand new bikes.
In the second feature, Jeremy Miller of Rockford, Illinois, became the first repeat winner this year at Madison when he took the checkered flag for the second 30 lap feature.  Miller continues to be the point leader in the division with three races remaining.

Clean Sweep for Jason Thoma
Jason Thoma of Jefferson, Wisconsin, dominated the Sportsman field by setting fast time in qualifying, winning the dash, and sweeping both 20 lap feature races for the Dave’s White Rock Sportsman.  Robert Hansberry Jr. is the divisional point leader.
