Grundy postponed again

Morris, Ill.-- Mother Nature unfortunately wins another one as the Grundy County Speedway was forced to postpone its stock car racing season opener scheduled for Friday night. The grounds are saturated, and rain is forecasted for the rest of today and most of tomorrow.

The speedway’s weekly opener is now scheduled for Friday May 13th with late model, street stock and pure stock divisions on tap as well as Midwest MASS Series race and the Midwest Mayhem Midgets, which will making their debut.

The Spring Fling 200 Enduro is still scheduled for this Saturday.  Grandstands open at 1:00 pm with the enduro getting underway at 3:00 pm.
