Green Flag to Fall on 2017 Season at Shady Bowl

DeGraff OH: (3/30) Shady Bowl Speedway in DeGraff will kick off its 2017 racing season with a full program of racing Saturday (4/1). It will the first of over 30 racing dates on the schedule. The late models, modifieds, pure stocks and compacts  will be on hand to attack the hillside oval. The same classes will be on the schedule the following week (4/8) both will be a non points races. The points chase will start with the April 22nd program.

The first big show of the season will be on April 15th when the CRA street stocks will compete in the 4 Crown 200. A 200 lap feature for the touring group will highlight the nights action. Shady Bowl promoter Rick Young will never forget last years event when a car flipped over the turn one retaining wall and soared over his head. Young was uninjured. Racing will start at 7 each night.
