55th Redbud 400 Up Next for the ARCA/CRA Super Series

Salem, IN (July 9, 2021) – The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS will resume their 25th Anniversary Season Presented by Team Construction this coming Monday in the 55th Annual Greg Hubler Automotive Group Redbud 400 Presented by Mitch Smith Auto Service and Perfecto at Anderson Speedway, located in Anderson, Indiana. Anderson Speedway is where the series raced its first ever event on April 26, 1997, where two time series Champion Brian Ross came away with the victory.

Past CRA winners of the prestigious Redbud race include Carson Hocevar in 2020, Johnny VanDoorn in 2019 and 2013, Rapheal Lessard in 2018, Steve Wallace in 2017, Dalton Armstrong in 2016, Erik Jones in 2015, Daniel Hemric in 2014, Ross Kenseth in 2012, Steve Dorer in 2011, Scott Hantz in 2010 and Kyle Busch in 2009. Hocevar took the lead on lap 226 and went on to get his first Redbud victory by just a half second over 2021 series Champion  Josh Brock in the 2020 addition. Hocevar and Armstrong are the only former Redbud 400 winners who are entered for Monday’s race.

The 55th Annual Greg Hubler Automotive Group Redbud 400 will be 400 laps counting yellows and will pay the winner $15,000. The event will also feature cost savings Controlled Cautions. When a yellow comes out teams will have three laps to service their race car without losing laps or positions on pit road. Those cars will then line up behind the cars that did not pit at that yellow. Teams not getting out of the pits in the three laps will have to fall to the tail of the field and will risk losing laps.
