R & D Racing 2010

We are very happy to have Adam back in the seat of our I-MOD again this year. Adam had a very impressive half season with us last year while transforming from a rookie to an accomplished I-MOD driver. At the I-MOD Banquet held on March 7, he received the 2009 Rookie of the Year Award which made our team very happy and proud. His credentials for winning this award were finishing 11th in Shadyhill points, 9th in 3K points and 8th in I-MOD Assn. points. He was able to win five heat races and two features during his rookie season. He accomplished these wins at both Shadyhill and Kankakee.

As we look forward to the 2010 racing season our team wants to welcome RaceStar Concepts, LLC as the new owner of the I-MOD Assn. Twenty five year racing veteran Rich Rish will be the new Director of Competition and along with his wife Diva, they have plans to expand I-MOD racing to a new level.

A new feature to our 2005 Webpage was the addition of our Guest Book. With the popularity of the Guestbook since it's inception we will continue it again this year. If you've signed it before, please feel welcome to add another post during this new racing season. Thanks to all of our friends that made the Guestbook an overwhelming success. We are very pleased to have friends from 48 different states and 22 foreign countries that have posted in our Guestbook. Hopefully we can attain all 50 states during this year and add some more countries also. We welcome your comments about our race team and ask that your wording be fair and in good taste. NOW IN KOUTS. Our race team wants to congratulate Crown Brick and Supply on the opening of their second location in Kouts. On May 1, 2010, Crown Brick & Supply celebrated the Grand Opening of their new Landscape Center in St. John. It is located at 10650 Thielen Street. I'm very pleased to be a RaceStar Correspondent and my friendship with Rich and Diva has grown stronger through the years that I've been associated with them.
