- The Memorial Day Holiday Weekend is almost here
as Fast Track Promotion Inc., and Owosso Speedway will be celebrating
in a big way with Autograph and Picture Night / Kids Bike Night I
at the Big "O" THIS Saturday,
May 29th.
At Intermission every car in the pit area in all four divisions
will meet on the frontstretch and the fans in the grandstands will
then be able to come out and meet their favorite car and star that
races within the Weekly Local Racing Series every Saturday night
at the Big "
O"
In addition, our young fans of the Owosso Speedway will have the
chance to win a FREE Bike courtesy of some of the great sponsors
that support the track as well as dedicated fans looking to put
a smile on a childs face with a brand new bike.
On the fast 3/8s (0.375) mile high-banked paved oval, the Affordable
Tire and Service Center Pro Late Models headline the holiday weekend
of racing and they'll be joined by the Shiawassee Shores Pro Stocks,
Shattuck Specialty Advertising Pure Stocks, and Okemos Auto Service
Sport Stocks.
The Drive Train Specialists Modifieds get the night off as part
of the bi-weekly rotating schedule with the Affordable Tire and
Service Center Pro Late Models.
Ticket Prices for Saturday, May 29th are: Adults (17-59) $12.00
- Seniors (60 and Over): $10.00 - Students (9-16) $8.00 - Kids
(8 and Under) FREE - Pit Passes $25.00.
The Pit Gates AND Grandstands BOTH open at "High Noon" 12:00p.m.,
every Saturday as Fans get the chance to spend the entire day at
the track by tailgating in the parking lot, watching Practice
and enjoying a great day at the track. Practice Starts at 2:00p.m.,
with Qualifying starting at 5:00p.m. Racing gets the green flag
at 7:00p.m.
The month of June starts off with the Relay for Life Celebration
on Saturday, June 5th. The Big "O" will host the resulting
celebration of the Shiawassee County American Cancer Society Relay
for Life. Teams will be selling advance tickets to raise money
for this worthy cause. Fans; Join us during Intermission and
walk a lap on the track.
