Mother Nature Wins Racer's Reunion
Night at the Big "O"

Ovid, Michigan (July 24, 2010): The
Historic Owosso Speedway
in Ovid, Michigan was to host the first ever Racer's Reunion Night on
Saturday, July 24th but Unfortunately, Mother Nature reared her ugly
head once again and for the fifth time this season, Fast Track
Promotion Inc., was forced to cancel the nights festivities.
The month of July ends with a bang THIS Saturday, July 31st as
the
Drive Train Specialists Modifieds RETURN after over a month off and
the open wheeled cars and stars will headline the second and final
Autograph and Picture Night / Kid's Bike Night of the 2010 racing
season at the Big "O"
At Intermission, the fans in the grandstands will be able to go
out
onto the front stretch to meet and greet their favorite cars and stars
that race within the Weekly Local Racing Series at the Owosso Speedway
every Saturday night. In addition, Kids in attendance can sign up for
a chance to Win a FREE Bike courtesy of the great sponsors that make
the 2010 season possible at the historic 69-year-old speed plant.
On the track, the Drive Train Specialists Modifieds return after
over
a month off while Shiawassee Shores Pro Stocks, Shattuck Specialty
Advertising Pure Stocks, and Okemos Auto Service Sport Stocks will
also be in action on the 3/8s (0.375) mile high-banked paved oval.
The Affordable Tire and Service Center Pro Late Models are off
as part
of the Bi-Weekly Rotating Schedule, but do return on Saturday, August
7th when they join the traveling cars and stars of the ASA Late Model
Northern Series, who will run in the Michigan 100 giving the great
fans of Mid-Michigan two sets of Late Models on the same card!
Ticket Prices for Saturday, July 31st are: Adults (17-59) $12.00

Seniors (60 and Over): $10.00 - Students (9-16) $8.00 - Kids (8 and
Under) FREE - Pit Passes $25.00.
The Pit Gates AND Grandstands BOTH open at "High Noon" 12:00p.m.,
every Saturday as Fans get the chance to spend the entire day at the
track by tailgating in the parking lot, watching Practice and enjoying
a great day at the races. Practice Starts at 2:00p.m., Qualifying
begins at 5:00p.m. Then after Pre-Race Ceremonies, the Invocation, and
National Anthem(s), Racing gets the green flag at 7:00p.m.
