Farmer City Raceway Banquet

This past Saturday night the annual Farmer City Raceway banquet took place on the grounds of the Farmer City Fairgrounds. Following a dinner provided by Blue Ridge BBQ, the top ten in each of the five divisions were recognized.

The photography team known as Double J Photography announced at the conclusion of the 2016 race season that they were stepping down as the track's photographers. They were also presented plaques for their dedication to Farmer City Raceway and the sport.

Race Director, Lance Spieker, then announced that on May 11-12, 2017, the speedway will host a two day event. On May 11, Pro Late Models, Street Stocks, and a class to be determined will take to the 1/4 dirt oval.

At the conclusion of the night's racing, Late Models and Modifieds will be allowed a practice session.

On May 12, UMP Modified drivers will race for a $5000 to win special and Late Models will have a $20,000 showdown.
